The West Ridge area is mainly underlain by Upper Triassic volcanic rock of the Upper Triassic Stuhini Group. Eocene felsic volcanic rock and rhyolite (Sloko Group) are mapped in the vicinity and quartz diorite of the Late Cretaceous Windy Table Complex intrudes the country rock to the south.
The West Ridge Zone was discovered late in 2011 by Ocean Park Ventures. Drill results from the West Ridge Zone contained the most consistent gold mineralization of the year with 25 to 30 metres of over 1.0 gram per tonne gold drilled in three different holes. Grab samples from that area yielded values of up to 14.05 grams per tonne gold (Assessment Report 33269). 2011 drill hole (TG-11-040) intersected 30 metres (from 132.50-162.50 metres downhole depth) of stockwork grading 1.09 grams per tonne gold and 1.74 grams per tonne silver, including 5.00 metres of semi-massive sulphide grading 5.59 grams per tonne gold and 3.05 grams per tonne silver (Assessment Report 33269). Two other holes intersected similar values.
The Trapper Gold trend is a northwest-southeast striking, 7-kilometre-long gold trend on the Trapper claims that were acquired Brixton Metals from Kodiak Copper in year 2020. In 2020 Brixton completed 3,025 metres of drilling in 16 core holes on the Thorn property and collected 1473 rock samples and 5588 soil samples throughout their expanded Thorn property including the Trapper Target area that contains the Trapper (Inlaw) (104K 078), Trapper (Outlaw) (104K 176), West Ridge (104K 175), Window (104K 174) and four new showings. Brixton collected a number of rock samples in the West Ridge and Trapper (Inlaw) area. A rock sample taken in 2020, in the 2011 drill area, assayed 10.2 grams per tonne gold; 3 samples located about 400 metres east of the 2011 drill area assayed from 36.9 to 47 grams per tonne gold; and 3 samples collected about 100 metres to the south-southeast of these assayed from 23 to 31.9 grams per tonne gold (Press Release, Brixton Metals Corp., Nov.16, 2020). Silver values from these samples ranged up 1482 grams per tonne, lead samples ranged up 5.6 per cent and zinc values ranged up to 6.4 per cent.
