The Window area is underlain by rock of the Upper Triassic Stuhini Group. Soil Geochemistry shows a broad west-northwest trending coincident silver, lead, zinc, arsenic, and cadmium anomaly that is at least 5.2 kilometres long. Within the western portion of this anomaly is a 2.8-kilometre-long gold anomaly. The current Inlaw, Outlaw and West Ridge Zones are within this gold, silver, lead, zinc, arsenic, cadmium anomaly. Anomalous copper occurs on both sides of this west-northwest trend and includes the contact between Stuhini andesitic lapilli tuff and the more massive cliff forming basalt above to the northeast and is associated with a window of feldspar porphyry to the southwest (Window Zone). Rhyolite and felsic volcanic rocks of the Eocene Sloko Group are mapped to the east of the showing.

A copper mineralized porphyritic dike in the southwest corner of the Trapper property was discovered late in the 2011 field season by Ocean Park Ventures. A rock samples in the area yielded 0.43 per cent copper and 1.3 grams per tonne silver (Sample K933771, Assessment Report 33269). Four other samples in this area graded over 0.15 per cent copper. The sample was described as densely malachite-stained float, downslope from later discovered porphyry dike intruding Stuhini rock.

The Trapper Gold trend is a northwest-southeast striking, 7-kilometre-long gold trend on the Trapper claims that were acquired by Brixton Metals from Kodiak Copper in 2020. In 2020 Brixton completed 3,025 metres of drilling in 16 core holes on the new Central Outlaw and West Outlaw zones on their Thorn property. A total of 1473 rock samples and 5588 soil samples were also collected throughout their expanded Thorn property including the Trapper Target area which includes the Trapper (Inlaw) 104K 078), Outlaw Trapper (104K 176), West Ridge (104K 175), Window (104K 174) and three new showings west and southwest of the West Ridge prospect.

See Trapper (Inlaw) for details on the Trapper property and related work history. Refer to Thorn (104K 031), Chivas (104K 180), East Outlaw (104K 083) and Oban (104K 168) for details of the work history of the greater Thorn property.
