The Erna showing is located approximately 105 kilometres northeast of the community of Dease Lake.
The area is underlain by sediments of the Middle to Upper Devonian McDame Group and Silurian to Lower Devonian Ramhorn Group consisting of sandstone, dolomite and limestone.
At the Erna showing, a tetrahedrite-bearing quartz vein is reported to occur in dolomite.
A sample across approximately 90 centimetres of vein on the Erna 1 yielded 0.17 gram per tonne gold, 2897.17 grams per tonne silver and 4.80 per cent copper (Property File - Hennel, 1973).
