The NW Block E597562 showing area is underlain by marine sedimentary and volcanic rock of the Upper Triassic Stuhini Group. The stratigraphy is intruded by Early Jurassic monzodiorite to gabbro of the Texas Creek Plutonic Suite and Eocene granite of the Major Hart Pluton. Further west the area is underlain by Devonian to Permian sedimentary rocks of the Stikine Assemblage.
A sample of a quartz vein with pyrite and chalcopyrite in Texas Creek diorite assayed 16.5 grams per tonne gold, 0.074 per cent copper and 4.2 grams per tonne silver (Assessment Report 32049).
