In the Agent 99 showing area, Late Triassic diorite to quartz diorite of the Stikine Plutonic Suite intrudes Upper Triassic Stuhini Group volcaniclastics and sediments.
A sequence of argillites is intruded by diabase dikes in the area explored in 1995 by Teuton Resource. Mineralization in outcrop and float in the Agent 99 area was reported to consist of:
1) sericite-altered rocks with pyrite up to 25 per cent as coarse blebs and seams; 2) brecciated argillite with galena, sphalerite, chalcopyrite and pyrite within quartz-calcite veining cementing argillite clasts; 3) brecciated argillite with pyrrhotite and pyrite representing up to 20-30 per cent of the rock; 4) massive pyrrhotite and pyrite with or without chalcopyrite; and 5) fractured granodiorite or diorite contains fine grained pyrite and chalcopyrite.
Grab sample ERK-95-473 assayed 0.13 per cent copper (Assessment Report 24395). Float sample ERK-95-467, several hundred metres to the northwest, assayed 5.83 grams per tonne gold and 0.78 per cent copper (Assessment Report 24395).
