The SCK occurrence is located about 5.5 kilometres east of the summit of Mount Johnson, 31 kilometres northeast of Stewart.
The showing is underlain by a sequence of north to northwest trending Lower Jurassic Unuk River Formation (Hazelton Group) green andesite pyroclastics, epiclastics and flows with minor limestone, mudstone and chert.
A grab rock sample (SCK-01) from an argillite lens within andesite lithic tuff yielded 27.3 grams per tonne silver and 0.31 per cent lead. The lens is a few metres long and 2 metres wide and contains 3 to 5 per cent very fine-grained epigenetic pyrite (Assessment Report 28675).
In 2006, a geological mapping and rock sampling program was conducted on behalf of Pinnacle Mines Ltd. on their Surprise Creek property; a total of 58 samples were collected.
In 2017, stream sediment samples were collected by Millrock Resources Inc from streams near SCK showing. Four samples (W366 454 to 457) collected from several west-draining streams were relatively elevated in silver and lead. Sample W366455, from the drainage closest to SCK, yielded the highest value of the four at 0.564 parts per million silver and 62.9 parts per million lead (Assessment Report 37268, Map 2a(3)).
