The Royal Number 2 showing is situated 1.25 kilometres west of the Kitsault River, 22 kilometres north of Alice Arm.
The area is underlain by a sequence of volcanics and sediments of the Upper Triassic Stuhini Group and the Lower Jurassic Hazelton Group. The sequence is folded into the doubly plunging, north-northwest trending Kitsault River syncline and has been regionally metamorphosed to greenschist facies.
The showing consists of a shear zone, striking 127 degrees and dipping vertically, in feldspar porphyritic andesite of the Hazelton Group. A 2.0 metre chip sample across this zone assayed 20.8 grams per tonne silver and 0.1690 per cent lead (Assessment Report 15371, page 22).
In 1986, a program of geological mapping and geochemical exploration was carried out by Dolly Varden Minerals Inc. on the Silver Dream claim group. A total of 57 rock chip samples, 31 stream sediment samples and 102 soil samples were collected and geochemically analyzed.
During 2010 through 2019, Dolly Silver Corporation explored the area as apart of the Dolly Varden property. A complete property exploration history can be found at the Dolly Varden (MINFILE 103P 188) occurrence.
