The Tenakihi Creek occurrence is located on a ridge top near the headwaters of Tenakihi Creek, approximately 69 kilometres northwest of the community of Germansen Landing.
The showing area is underlain by diorite, monzonite, and granodiorite of the Early Jurassic Hogem Plutonic Suite. This copper occurrence is noted on Geological Survey of Canada Map 1030A. No description is available but fracture-hosted chalcopyrite mineralization is inferred. A showing in a similar geologic setting (Aten 2, 094C 175) is located 1.6 kilometres northeast.
