The Hannah occurrence is at an elevation of approximately 1650 metres in the northwest headwaters of a southeast–flowing tributary of Klawdetelle Creek, approximately 3.3 kilometres east-southeast of 'Adade Yus Mountain.
Regionally, the area is underlain by volcanic flows of the Lower Jurassic Chuchi Lake Formation and volcaniclastic rocks of the Upper Triassic Witch Lake Formation, both of the Takla Group, which have been intruded by ultramafic rocks of the Upper Triassic to Lower Jurassic Valleau Creek Plutonic Suite and granitic rocks of the Lower Cretaceous Klawli Pluton to the north, and quartz monzonitic to monzogranitic rocks of the Lower Jurassic Hogem Plutonic Suite to the south.
East- and northeast- striking faults cut the area with the most significant fault, the Camp fault, hosting an extensive area of brecciation and veining towards its western end associated with large suite of anomalous elements.
The Hannah occurrence incorporates several areas that have concentrations of mineralized and altered monzonite fragments within green, heterolithic andesitic agglomerate of the Lower Jurassic Chuchi Lake Formation (Takla Group). Fine-grained fragments are gossanous and contain disseminated pyrite, pyrrhotite, and rare chalcopyrite. Epidote and chlorite alteration is generally pervasive.
The main Hannah showing comprises a crowded porphyry monzonite fragments are bleached and potassically(?) altered.
In 1991, a sample (518001) taken for analysis from an area rich in gossanous monzonite fragments yielded 0.84 gram per tonne gold and 0.022 per cent copper (Assessment Report 21853).
Work History
In 1991, Dasserat Development Corp. completed a program of geological mapping, geochemical (rock, soil, and silt) sampling and a 22.3 line-kilometre ground magnetometer survey on the area as the MM claims.
In 2007, Solomon Resources Ltd. completed a program of geochemical (soil and silt) sampling and a 1458.4 line-kilometre airborne geophysical survey on the area as the Col-Magnet property.
In 2013 and 2014, Pacific Empire Minerals Corp., in conjunction with Nation River Resources Ltd. and Indata Resources Ltd., completed programs of geochemical (rock and soil) sampling and historical data compilation on the area as part of the Col-Later-Klawback property.
