The Harvey Cove Geyserite occurrence is located south of Culleet Lake, approximately 600 metres west of the western arm of Le Mare Lake.
The area is underlain entirely by Lower Jurassic Bonanza Group intermediate to felsic volcanic flows and pyroclastics that have undergone regional low-grade zeolite and laumontite metamorphism. Dark green andesite flows, dacite lapilli tuffs and rhyodacite crystal tuff are intruded by sporadic andesite dikes and bisected by steeply dipping faults.
Locally, geyserite and chalky geyserite are exposed on the Restless Mainline Road.
