SUMMARY


Capsule Geology	The Golden Gate workings explore a wide shear zone trending northwest and dipping northeast along the contact between augite diorite of the Permian Bralorne Igneous Complex and a Tertiary quartz albitite dyke. The shear has slickensides on the margins, and contains small concentrations of needle-like prisms of arsenopyrite with associated gold values.
