The TDM showing is located is located at an elevation of approximately 1300 metres in an east-facing gully, approximately 800 metres west of the north end of Cougar Lake.
The area is situated on the eastern flank of the multistage Upper Triassic to Lower Jurassic Guichon Creek Batholith. The area is underlain primarily by medium- to fine-grained Guichon variety granodiorite of the Highland Valley phase of the batholith. These rocks grade westward to Chataway variety granodiorite. Two major structural patterns trending northeast and northwest occur on the property.
Locally, fine-grained disseminated native copper occurs in Guichon (Witches Brook B) granodiorite on the former TDM 25 claim.
Another zone of mineralization is reported on the former Tom 12 claim, located approximately 1.5 kilometres north of the TDM occurrence, and comprises a quartz diorite hosting chalcocite and trace malachite on fractures.
