The KS occurrence is located near the south western shore of Hiller Island, approximately 1.1 kilometres north west of the mouth of Lucky Creek in Toquart Bay.

The area is underlain by mafic volcanics of the Upper Triassic Karmutsen Formation, Vancouver Group. Intrusive dikes were observed on the island. Details of the occurrence were not reported.

In 1983, Victoria Resource Corp. completed a program of geochemical sampling on the area as the KS claim. A rock sample (81) assayed 10.6 grams per tonne silver and 1.38 grams per tonne gold (Assessment Report 12545).

In 1985, Falconbridge completed a reconnaissance stream sediment sampling program on the area.
