The Leviathian showing is located the south eastern side of Tranquil Creek, approximately 4.5 kilometres north- north east of the creek mouth.
At the occurrence, diorite to quartz diorite of the Jurassic Island Plutonic Suite or the Paleozoic and/or Mesozoic Westcoast Complex intrude Devonian Sicker Group rocks.
Locally, A 35 metre wide altered zone, with a 3.5 metre wide quartz vein striking 110 degrees, occurs in volcanic rocks. Mineralization is likely chalcopyrite.
In 1984 and 1985, Xenium Resources Inc. completed programs of geological mapping and rock, silt and soil sampling on the area as the Xen 1 and 2 claims. In 1985, a sample (R-1) from a 0.15 metre rusty shear zone with quartz stringers assayed 1.7 grams per tonne gold (Assessment Report 14075).
In 1985 and 1987, West-Mar Resources Ltd. completed programs of rock, silt and soil sampling on the area. A rock sample assayed 0.3 per cent copper and 2.7 grams per tonne silver (Assessment Report 14337).
In 1991, the area was prospected by K.E. Hicks. In 2009, Selkirk Metal Corp. completed a program of silt and soil sampling on the area as the Fandora Property.
