The Venatici occurrence is located on the western side Kuitsche Creek, at approximately 90 metres elevation.

The area is underlain by metamorphic rocks of the Jurassic to Cretaceous Leech River Complex. Basalt and sandstone also occur in the area.

Locally, slate with veins of ferroan dolomite or calcite host fine cubes of pyrite, 2 to 3 millimetres in size.

In 2010 and 2011, a program of geochemical sampling was completed on the area as the Venatici claim. A sample of veined slate assayed 6.0 grams per tonne gold and 7.3 grams per tonne silver (Assessment Report 32286).
