The TransCanada zeolite quarry is located approximately 30 kilometres east of Kamloops, BC.
Basalt flow rocks of the Eocene Kamloops and Penticton Groups underlie the property.
Zeolite was discovered in 2000 by C2C Zeolite Corporation. The company collected samples and conducted analysis using X-ray diffraction, Scanning Electron Microscope and ICP-MS. In 2002 the company dug six trenches, one trench (eastern) contained high percentages of chabazite zeolite.
In 2015 ZMM Canada Minerals Corp. staked the property and conducted updated analysis to determine the physiochemical characteristics of the zeolite.
In spring of 2018 ZMM Minerals Corp. announced they had received a permit to quarry a bulk sample, had stockpiled one thousand tonnes of material and completed an access road to the property.
