The Pee Pee showing is located about 23 kilometres southwest of Cranbrook and nine kilometres west of Moyie Lake.

The Pee Pee showing is a quartz vein 2 to 3 centimetres wide, containing spotty, fine-grained galena mineralization and some coarser grained apatite. The vein has a general strike of about 110 degrees and a near vertical dip. Quartzites and argillites of the Helikian Middle Aldridge Formation (Purcell Supergroup) host the occurrence and these sediments dip 30 to 40 degrees northwest and form the eastern limb of an anticlinal feature. The vein(s) are closely related to diorite sills which are generally conformable to stratigraphy and are 30 to 100 metres thick.

In 1966 and 1967, Cominco Ltd. conducted an exploration program consisting of the collection of 560 soil samples and 1500 hectares of geological mapping over their Pee Pee claim group (Assessment Report 1063). This work led to the discovery of the Pee Pee (082GSW038), Pee Pee 50 (082GSW042), and Pee Pee 55 (082GSW043) showings.

In 2002 work by operator Klondike Gold Corp (owners: F. O'Grady and Sedex Mining Corp.) on their McNeil property (Phantom 1, Mar 3, MCL 54-57, and RNG 1 claims) consisted of unique geological mapping by using the correlation of two deep drill holes. Re-evaluation of the area using this new information identified a number of key marker units that allow correlation of the stratigraphic succession with Sullivan succession to the north, allowing construction of a map that can be used to determine depth to the Sullivan horizon in the area (Assessment Report 27005). MINFILE showing Pee Pee (082GSW038) was covered by the RNG 1 claim.

In 2015, 24.9 kilometres of ground electromagnetic surveying VLF kilometres was completed on the Mac's Attack claim area that covers the McNeil prospect (083GSW024) and the McNeil showing (082FSE109, now deleted as it is a redundancy of the McNeil prospect) (Assessment Report 35430). VLF data reported in Assessment Report 19277 was reprocessed to produce cross-sectional images of the near-surface electrical conductivity structure for the Mac’s Attack Property. MINFILE showing Pee Pee (082GSW038) occurs about 1 kilometre east of the Mac's Attack property. The 2019 work has some overlap with Pee Pee showing area.

In 2019, Salt Spring Imaging, on behalf of “Mac Attack” property owner Sean Kennedy, completed an analysis of previously reported airborne magnetic data (Assessment Report 38865). The results include identification and delineation of a prominent and extensive zone of elevated conductivity and magnetic susceptibility in the near subsurface that has not been tested by drilling. MINFILE showing Pee Pee (082GSW038) occurs about 2 kilometres east of the Mac Attack property. The 2019 work has some relation to the Pee Pee showing area.

Refer to Pee Pee 55 (082GSW043) and McNeil Creek (082GSW024) for related geological information and work history.
