At the Pre showing, pyrite, pyrrhotite, galena, sphalerite and chalcopyrite occur as disseminations and fracture-fillings within laminated, thin bedded argillites and calcareous argillites of the Helikian Aldridge Formation (Purcell Supergroup).
WORK HISTORY
The Pre property initially consisted of 324 claims staked in late 1969 to protect airborne geophysical responses located by a Cominco Ltd.
From 1969 through 1970, Cominco Ltd conducted 4.5 kilometers of gravity surveying, 51.1 kilometres of ground electromagnetic surveying and 38 kilometres of ground magnetic surveying over their Pre claims (Assessment Report 2587). In the same years, Cominco collected 541 soil samples over their Pre claims (Assessment Report 2588). Geochemical and geophysical anomalies were revealed as a result of this work.
In 2013, work by Excel Geophysics on behalf of Premier Lake property owner Brian Kostiuk consisted of a gravity survey with 809 gravity stations located along roads in the area (Assessment Report 34204). The gravity survey was successful in detecting a trend of residual gravity anomalies that could be potential mineral deposits.
