At the St. Tresa showing, a quartz vein, less than 1 metre wide, is hosted by grey sandy argillites and quartzites of the Helikian Aldridge Formation (Purcell Supergroup). Two exposures of the quartz vein indicate a general east strike with a 78-degree south dip. The veins are irregular and ill-defined with sporadic pyrite and galena mineralization. Selected material containing disseminated pyrite and galena returned only 62 grams silver and 2 per cent lead with traces of gold and zinc; other samples were barren (Minister of Mines Annual Report 1934).
In the mid-1990s, 402813 Alberta conducted soil (175) and rock (12) sampling east-southeast of the St. Tresa area (Assessment Report 23934). In 1995, a 1989 report by Kruszewski, described the showing as an irregular quartz vein of unknown width exposed in two short tunnels in faulted Aldridge Argillites. A sample from the vein, containing disseminated pyrite and galena, assayed 69 grams per tonne silver and 2 per cent lead, and trace gold (Assessment Report 24230).
In 2006, Ruby Red Resources complete additional contour soil geochemistry was completed in the south portion of the claim block to evaluate areas of favorable alteration and quartz veining previously located by prospecting. Work was done over or very near the Spirit (082GNW095) and Palmyra (082GNW010) area and in the Shepard Gulch (south to) St. Tresa (082GNW021) area (Assessment Report 28643). A total of 348 soil samples were collected.
In 2007/2008, prospecting was done "along the northern edges" of Boulder Creek, about 400 metres west of the St. Tresa MINFILE plot (Assessment Report 30111). Little information was given.
