The Mayflower is part of the same mineral exposure as the Lucky Boy (082FSW005) immediately to the north and within the same dolomitized zone of Reeves Member limestone of the Lower Cambrian Laib Group. The Mayflower contains an old 9 metre shaft sunk on a vein of oxidized, soft, red material and brown clay about 1 metre in width. The oxidized zone is reported to assay about 6 per cent zinc.
Cominco Ltd. drilled the property in 1988. Refer to the Lucky Boy occurrence for details.
