At the Humbird-Dome showing west of the Samuel Glacier deformed Ordovician-Devonian limestones are cut by quartz veins which locally conform to bedding. The rocks containing sulphide mineralization are complexly folded and faulted with a dominant northwest structural trend. Vein and replacement disseminated sulphides include freiberg- ite, sphalerite, chalcopyrite and galena. A representative sample contained 58.97 grams per tonne silver, 0.24 per cent copper, 0.09 per cent zinc, 0.02 per cent lead, and trace gold.
