At the Humbird-South showing, west of Samuel Glacier, a strong north-northwest trending (silicified?) fault zone is developed in Ordovician-Devonian metasediments. Chalcopyrite and galena occur as disseminations along the fault zone. A grab sample from this occur- rence ran 3.43 grams per tonne silver, 0.33 per cent copper, 0.24 per cent zinc, and 0.10 per cent lead.
