The R04 showing area is underlain by sediments of the Lower Jurassic Inklin Formation of the Laberge Group. These comprise greywacke, argillite, shale and conglomerate. A quartz diorite stock of the Late Cretaceous Windy Table Complex is mapped in the vicinity of showing.
About 1160 metres south of Bee Peak, sample 891-1R04 was collected and assayed 1.9 per cent lead, 0.117 gram per tonne gold, 44.6 grams per tonne silver and 0.79 per cent arsenic (Assessment Report 19631).
Work History
The Golden Bee group of claims were staked by Golden Bee Minerals in 1989. Golden Bee Minerals conducted a program of sampling, mapping, prospecting and geochemical surveys in 1989 and 1990. Galena and bornite are marked on 1990 geology map of Golden Bee Minerals in the vicinity of 1989 sample 891-1R04. (Assessment Report 21327).
In 2008, a helicopter assisted magnetic survey was carried out on the Bee Peak Property owned by Kushi Resources Inc. The southern portions of this survey occur in the R04 area. At least nine lineations are apparent within the survey area as shown on a contour map (Assessment Report 30460).
