The Bell 1NW area is underlain by Lower Permian limestone of the Stikine Assemblage.
A grab sample (32926) was taken from a limonitic, five centimetre-wide, pod of garnet-pyroxene-epidote skarn. The sample, containing disseminated galena, returned values of 1.27 per cent lead, 0.17 per cent zinc, 46 gram per tonne silver and 5 parts per billion gold (Figure 11, Assessment Report 20791). The host was ferricrete next to skarny marble.
