The Oksa Main showing is underlain by Pennsylvanian rock of the Stikine Assemblage. Early Jurassic quartz diorite intrudes to the south and Tertiary granite to the north.
The Main Oksa zone consists of an argillite unit in contact with a granodiorite and a limestone/marble unit. Sulphide mineralization occurs within skarned areas, and consists of massive fine grained and weakly banded pyrite, pyrrhotite, sphalerite, chalcopyrite and minor galena. Assays up to 6.69 grams per tonne gold, 182.19 grams per tonne silver, and 10.83 per cent zinc have been obtained from this zone (Assessment Report 22758).
See Oksa Gold 3 (104G 140) for details for details of the Oksa property work history.
