The Saddle 4 South area is underlain by rock of the Upper Triassic Stuhini Group. In 1990, Gigi Resource collected a sample of chalcopyrite bearing agglomerate with 6 per cent pyrite. Assays were 1 gram per tonne silver, 0.02 per cent copper and 0.04 per cent lead (Assessment Report 21061). The sample was taken from an alteration halo around a dike.
