The Glen showing area is underlain by andesitic rocks of the Upper Triassic Stuhini Group. These are intruded Triassic to Jurassic plutons consisting of granodiorite and diorite.

Mineralization consists of a trace pyrite or chalcopyrite within quartz-carbonate stringers or iron-carbonate altered shear zones. Initial exploration of the property in 1989 resulted in the discovery of several recessive clay-silica-carbonate altered zones, one of which assayed 1.51 grams per tonne gold (Assessment Report 19871).

During August of 1989, Pass Lake Resources Ltd and Golden Sitka Resources Inc. carried out two days of geological mapping, prospecting and stream sediment sampling on the Glen 1 to 6 claims, taking one silt sample and twelve rock samples.

During September of 1990, Lorica Resources Ltd. carried out limited exploration on the Glen 1 to 6 claims, consisting of geological mapping, prospecting and stream sediment sampling.
