Mineralization occurs within sediments and volcanics of the Upper Triassic Stuhini Group. The most significant, the Frosty showing, consists of several east trending chloritic shear zones exposed for 200 metres along the banks of West Middle Creek. The shear zones vary in width from 0.3 to 1.5 metres and contain pyrite and chalcopyrite.
Pass Lake Resources Ltd held the property as the Rattle and Roll claims in 1990 and 1991. A 30-centimetre sample assayed 1.54 grams per tonne gold, 9.6 grams per tonne silver and 1.79 per cent copper (Assessment Report 21110).
In 2017, a chip sample from a chloritic shear zone assayed 2.54 grams per tonne gold and 0.14 per cent copper over 1.5 metres (Pautler, J. (2019-05-31): Technical Report on the GK Project).
