Three stratigraphic assemblages have been mapped in the area: (1) Upper Palaeozoic sediments and volcanics of the Stikine Assemblage, (2) clastic sediments of the Triassic Stuhini Group, and (3) Lower Jurassic sediments and volcanics of the Hazelton Group.

Four plutonic suites intrude the above; (1) Late Triassic calc-alkaline intrusions coeval with Stuhini Group stratigraphy, (2) Jurassic Copper Mountain, (3) Jurassic Texas Creek and (4) Tertiary Coast Plutonic suite.

A 28 metre wide siltstone and limestone section is cut by numerous 290/70 northeast to 301/60 northeast high sulphide structures measuring one to two metres in width. Intervening rock contains one to 25 percent fracture and disseminated sulphide with some strong clay alteration. Sphalerite and galena were noted in most samples. Eight chip samples were collected across structure. One of the better assays was 0.19 per cent lead, 0.88 per cent zinc, 10.9 grams per tonne silver, 0.16 gram per tonne gold, greater than 10,000 parts per million As, 21.1 parts per million Sb and 38.8 parts per million Bi over 5 metres (Assessment Report 29673). The best gold value was 0.72 gram per tonne gold and 18.4 grams per tonne silver over 4 metres. High MMI soil response ratios for gold, silver and lead occur as a linear pattern across three soil lines from the showing to the northwest over a 400 metre distance.
