The dominant host rocks in the Ridge zone area are andesitic volcanic breccias. Conspicuous augite phenocrysts in these rocks are diagnostic of a stratigraphic position within the Stuhini Group.
The Ridge zone, situated 300 metres north of the AW zone is underlain by andesite breccias. The zone comprises a 1-metre wide quartz-calcite-barite vein with galena, pyrite and lesser chalcopyrite mineralization that strikes 115 degrees and dips 85 degrees to the southwest. The vein is located within sericite quartz pyrite alteration that trends northeast. Grab samples collected by Tantalus Resources Ltd assayed up to 5.38 grams per tonne gold (Assessment Report 23686).
