The Camera area is underlain by Devonian sedimentary and volcanic rocks of the Stikine Assemblage. The Devonian Forrest Kerr Pluton is in contact to the immediate west of the Stikine package. Plutonic rocks consist primarily of Late Devonian granite and diorite.
A sample was collected on the Cameral Creek gossan in 1989 or 1990 by Avondale Resources that assayed 1.7 per cent copper, 210 ppb gold and 0.1 per cent arsenic (Assessment Report 20562, Figure 65). Several other samples in the area were also high in copper.
