The Forrest 13 occurrence is underlain by Devonian metasedimentary and metavolcanic rocks of the Stikine Assemblage in contact with Late Devonian Forrest Kerr Pluton on the west. Plutonic rocks consist primarily of Late Devonian granite and diorite.
Several rock samples high in copper were taken at the Forrest 13 area. One sample assayed 0.012 gram per tonne gold, 9 per cent copper and 4.6 per cent zinc (Assessment Report 20562, Figure 66).
In 2018 Cameo Cobalt Corporation conducted an airborne magnetic survey over their Big Mac West and Big Mac East properties. A total of 511.4 line-kilometres were flown over the Big Mac East, and a total of 201.4 line-kilometres were flown over the Big Mac West during the 2018 field program. Twenty-seven rock samples were taken from the Big Mac West Property which contains two MINFILE occurrence, Tic 8 (104B 367) and Forrest 13 (104B 493).
Less than a kilometre north-northwest of the plotted Forrest 13 showing six rock samples were taken by Cameo Cobal in 2018. One of the samples yielded the highest value from the program at 1.82 per cent copper from a well mineralized mafic tuff with weak to moderate malachite staining (Figure 11.1, Assessment Report 38293).
