The In showing occurs in an area of Devonian to Permian Stikine Assemblage rock overlain by Upper Triassic rock of the Stuhini Group. The stratigraphy is intruded Triassic to Tertiary stocks of the Coast Plutonic Complex
Locally, the rocks are comprised of phyllites, quartzites, highly sheared greywacke, metavolcanics and minor Permian limestone.
In 1963, Granduc Mines had a 2 man crew conduct trenching on mineralized veins on the In claims (consisting of four recorded claims) on the upper Inhini River. Mineralization consisting of minor galena, sphalerite and chalcopyrite occurs within narrow quartz veins in altered host rocks.
In 1989, Corona Corporation prospected the Inhini 9-12, DD1 and JJ1 claims and collected 13 heavy mineral, 13 silt and 43 rock samples (Assessment Report 19150 and 19971).
In 1989, in the vicinity of the plotted In showing, Corona reported the finding of a quartz vein that contain minor galena, sphalerite and pyrite. It assayed 0.29 gram per tonne gold, 14.1 grams per tonne silver, 0.029 per cent copper, 0.20 per cent lead and 1.33 per cent zinc (Sample 82302, Maps 4b and 5b, Assessment Report 19971).
