The Kitsault Gold 3 showing is located about 1 kilometre west of Kitsault Lake, 50 kilometres southeast of Stewart, north of Alice Arm.
The Kitsault Gold 3 area covers the southern extent of Lower Jurassic Hazelton Group and Upper Triassic Stuhini Group volcanic and sedimentary rocks.
The showing comprises a rock sample (10954) of a felsic rock with dark phenocrysts that assayed 0.38 per cent lead and 1 per cent zinc (Assessment Report 28476). The hostrock is assumed to be volcanic of the Hazelton Group.
In 2005, Kitsault Resources Ltd. conducted a stream sediment sampling program on the Kitsault Gold Property on behalf of owner Rand Edgar Smyth Syndicate. A total of 161 stream sediment samples were collected, together with 70 rock samples.
