The Victory occurrence is located 1.25 kilometres east of the Kitsault River, 27.5 kilometres north of the town of Alice Arm. Drilling between 1963 and 1975 has outlined moderate-sized reserves of ore for this silver-bearing vein.

The area is underlain by a sequence of volcanics and sediments of the Upper Triassic Stuhini Group and the Lower Jurassic Hazelton Group. The sequence is folded into the doubly plunging, north-northwest trending Kitsault River syncline and has been regionally metamorphosed to greenschist facies.

The Victory occurrence consists of a quartz-carbonate-barite breccia vein developed in andesitic tuffs and breccias of the Hazelton Group that have undergone propylitic alteration in the vicinity of the vein. This vein strikes 070 degrees for 230 metres, and dips between 70 to 85 degrees north. The vein averages 4.3 metres in width and has been segmented into two main blocks by a north striking, east dipping fault with left-hand displacement. The vein is comprised of pyrite, galena, sphalerite and tetrahedrite, with traces of argentite, pyrargyrite and native silver in a gangue of quartz, carbonate, barite and jasper.

Indicated reserves at Victory (in two zones) are 66,230 tonnes grading 393 grams per tonne silver (Statement of Material Facts July 14, 1975 - Northern Mining Ltd., E.M. Wilson).

The surface showings are located on an easterly trending ridge at an elevation of 823 metres. Silver mineralization was discovered before 1918, and the claims were originally known as the Last Chance and Chance group. Early work included opencutting, and in 1919 four holes were drilled. Between the years 1921 and 1930, a crosscut adit located 244 metres southwest of the surface showings was driven at intervals. The adit is caved (ca. 1951) and was driven at 350 degrees azimuth 36.5 metres; it is reported that it did not encounter any mineralization. Other work has involved the cleaning out of old opencuts and diamond drilling. Since 1930 little work has been done. During 1964, Sirmac Mines Limited completed 789.1 metres of diamond drilling. In 1980, Lodestar Energy Inc. conducted a soil sampling program.

During 2010 through 2019, Dolly Silver Corporation explored the area as apart of the Dolly Varden property. A complete property exploration history can be found at the Dolly Varden (MINFILE 103P 188) occurrence.
