This occurrence is based on trenching carried out on the All 3 claim, 1.7 kilometres northwest of Yedhe Mountain in the Muskwa Ranges of the Northern Rocky Mountains (Geology, Exploration and Mining in British Columbia 1970).
No geological information is available except that the target was copper mineralization (Geology, Exploration and Mining in British Columbia 1970). From its location, the area is underlain by clastic sedimentary rocks of the Cambrian Atan Group (Geological Survey of Canada Memoir 373, Map 1343A); however, it is possible that the underlying Middle Proterozoic Aida Formation and a Proterozoic dike actually outcrop in the claim where the work was done. This is reasonable as these rock units tend to host chalcopyrite-bearing quartz-carbonate veins in the region.
More recent work, in 2005, identified a strongly hematized breccia with quartzite and jasper.
Work History
Historic trenching is reported to have been completed on the occurrence.
In 2005, Twenty-Seven Capital Corp. completed a regionally extensive program of geochemical (rock, silt and soil) sampling and a 9002.0 line-kilometre airborne magnetic survey on the area as the Muskwa property. Also at this time, Aries Resource Corp. and Action Minerals Inc. completed a program of prospecting and sampling on the area as the Taya claims of the Trident Copper project. In 2006, Bradford Mineral Explorations Ltd. conducted 4467.0 line-kilometres airborne magnetic and electromagnetic surveys on the area as the Trident property.
