The Park 2 occurrence is located approximately 14 kilometres due south of Sustut Peak, on the ridge 1.5 kilometres west of the A462 occurrence (094D 102) (Assessment Report 4855).
The regional and local geology is similar to that of the A462 occurrence. Chalcocite occurs within shear zones, and other fracture features, cutting lapilli tuffs, ash tuffs, andesitic vesicular flows, agglomerates and quartz feldspar porphyry sills of the Lower Jurassic Telkwa Formation (Hazelton Group). Mineralization is found scattered along the entire ridge.
One of the best samples, from siliceous tuff, assayed 1.44 per cent copper and 80 grams per tonne silver (Assessment Report 5402, page 62). Grab samples from mineralized talus boulders and fracture zones on the Park 2 claim assayed up to 3.8 per cent copper and 360 grams per tonne silver (Map 5, Assessment Report 21856).
See A462 (094D 102) for related geological and work history details.
