The Critter occurrence is located on the east side of Wasi Creek, about 43 kilometres north of the community of Germansen Landing.

At the showing, disseminated sphalerite with possible barite occurs in recrystallized sections of light to dark grey dolomite of the Middle Devonian Otter Lakes Group (Fieldwork 1991, page 132).
