The ND occurrence is located at the headwaters of Haha Creek, 20 kilometres southwest of Uslika Lake and 65 kilometres west-northwest of the community of Germansen Landing. The showing lies centrally in the Omineca Belt within the Quesnel terrane.
Disseminated chalcopyrite, pyrite, and rare bornite are hosted in the Early Jurassic Duckling Creek Syenite Complex within the Early Jurassic to Early Cretaceous Hogem Plutonic Suite. Potassic and propylitic alteration are evident in the syenite and monzonite hostrocks.
In 1974-75, the ND claims were geologically mapped by Union Miniere Explorations and Mining Corporation Limited.
During 2005 through 2007, Lysander Minerals Corp. completed programs of silt and rock sampling, geological mapping, and an airborne electromagnetic/resistivity survey on the area as a part of the Pinchi project. In 2012, Tajiri Resource Corp. conducted a helicopter supported property-wide reconnaissance geochemical investigation of their OGK property. A total of 68 rock, 112 stream sediment and 383 soil samples were collected and submitted for assay. A helicopter supported airborne geophysical survey consisting of magnetics, VLF/EM and radiometric surveys over four blocks totalling 505 line-kilometres was also completed.
