The Sergeant Lindsay Ledge occurrence is located on the east slope of Richfield Mountain, 3 kilometres south-southwest of Barkerville (Geological Survey of Canada Map 364).

The showing comprises the main Sergeant Lindsay vein, and several adjacent veins, sparsely mineralized with pyrite and limonite. The veins are hosted by grey phyllitic quartzites and phyllites of the Snowshoe Group. The main vein strikes slightly north of west, with vertical to moderate south dips. It bifurcates westward into two separate veins ranging from 76 to 168 centimetres in width. An assay sample of vein material yielded 61.99 grams per tonne silver and a trace of gold (Geological Survey of Canada Annual Report 1887-88).
