The LVA-39 showing is underlain by rock of Lower Jurassic Telkwa Formation, Hazelton Group. Granodiorite stocks of the Late Cretaceous Kasalka Plutonic Suite intrude the strata.

Calcite veins in green aphanitic andesite outcrop with malachite, galena and rare chalcocite. A sample yielded greater than 1 per cent copper, 12 grams per tonne silver and 0.33 gram per tonne gold (Assessment Report 33538).

In 2012, Canadian International Minerals Inc. and Harsbo Minerals Ltd. collected 10 rock samples and 259 soil samples on their Cole property. A new showing named for rock sample LVA-39 was reported.
