The Clipboard showing is located 5 kilometres south-southeast of Niut Mountain and 9 kilometres west of Tatlayoko Lake.
The Clipboard showing consists of disseminated malachite within granite porphyry. The area where the showing is plotted is assigned to a northwest trending fault-bound package of Upper Cretaceous Powell Creek Formation rock consisting of andestic to mafic volcanics and lessor sedimentary rocks. Masses of granodiorite of the Late Triassic Bendor pluton intrude to the west of the west-bounding fault, while a tonalite pluton of the Cadwallader plutonic suite intrudes to the east of the east-bounding fault.
