The AR5600 occurrence is located on the road to Jo Lake, north of the Artlish River.
The area is underlain by Lower Jurassic Bonanza Group volcanic rocks. Albitized porphyritic, brecciated dacite is interbedded with massive andesite, trachytic porphyritic amygdaloidal andesite and tuff. The units have undergone some deformation and bear evidence of greenschist-amphibolite grade metamorphism.
Locally, chalcopyrite is hosted in altered volcanic rocks. In 2007, rock sampling yielded up to 1.2 per cent copper (Assessment Report 25749).
In 2007, Grande Portage Resources completed a prospecting program of geological mapping and rock and soil sampling. During 2010 through 2012, Goldenlode Resources completed programs of geological mapping, prospecting and geochemical sampling on the area as the Tahsish Two claim.
