The White showing is in the White River Valley 17.6 kilometres by logging road south of the community of Sayward.
The area is underlain by basalt and andesite flows, breccia and tuff of the Upper Triassic Karmutsen Formation. These are overlain by sediments (limestone, slate, siltstone, argillite) of the Triassic Parson Bay Formation (Vancouver Group). Both have been intruded by granodioritic intrusives of the Jurassic Island Plutonic Suite which are exposed to the east and north west.
Locally, mineralized north west and north east trending fractures and shears are hosted in a skarn zone in limestone. The mineralization is primarily sphalerite with minor quantities of galena, chalcopyrite and greenockite.
