The BRIDGE RIVER (BR) showing is located in the vicinity of Sham Hill on the north valley side of the North Fork of Bridge River, 47 kilometres west of the village of Gold Bridge. It is in the same vicinity as the Copper Plateau (Minfile 092JW051) and NBR (Minfile 092JW050) mineral occurrences.

The area is primarily underlain by the Early Tertiary-age granitic Bridge River Pluton, which intrudes the Late Cretaceous quartz diorite to the southeast and a similarly aged granodiorite body, the Lord River Pluton to the north, west and southwest. The intrusive rocks are overlain by flat-lying Miocene-age basaltic flows (Garibaldi) and intruded by basalt to diorite feeder dikes and felsite, quartz porphyry and felspar porphyry dikes.

Sulphide mineralization, mainly chalcopyrite and molybdenite, is strongly fracture controlled, confined to veins and veinlets mainly within quartz monzonite over an area of 1700 by 500 metres. Veins commonly strike north and dip 50 to 70 degrees east. Other sulphide minerals present include bornite, chalcocite and pyrite; oxidation products of sulphides include malachite, azurite and tenorite. Wallrock alteration is weakly propylitic, with sericite and potassic alteration associated with quartz and sulphides in, and adjacent to, veins.

In 1980, a chip sample (61901) across a 1.0 metre wide mineralized quartz vein from the East Gully assayed 1.08 per cent copper, 0.050 per cent molybdenum and 15.7 grams per tonne silver. Trench sampling (trenches 2W and 2E), from the West Gully, yielded up to 0.14 and 0.19 per cent copper over 17 and 6 metres, respectively (Assessment Report 8804).

In 2011, diamond drill hole CP11-01 (Copper Plateau) intercepted 99.1 metres averaging 0.051 per cent copper, including 12.2 metres yielding 0.149 per cent copper (Assessment Report 33319).

In 1970, Canex Aerial Exploration completed programs of geological mapping and an induced polarization survey, totalling 2.5 line-kilometres, on the area as the BR claims. In 1980, Amax of Canada completed a program of geological mapping, ground geophysical surveys and rock, silt and soil sampling. During 2005 through 2019, Cresval Capital Corp. completed programs of prospecting, geochemical sampling, trenching, an induced polarization survey, 2031.5 metres of diamond drilling in nine holes, an airborne magnetic and radiometric survey and a ground magnetic survey over areas of the property known as the Copper 1-25 claims, the Bridge River project and the Mike property.

In 2011,1261 metres of diamond drilling in 5 holes were completed over the Copper Plateau area, approximately 500 metres north of the Bridge River occurrence. A ground magnetic survey was completed over the area in 2019. Cresval changed its name to Transforma Resources Corp. in October 2021.
