Capsule Geology

The Mary Mac South zone is located on the east side of Traux Creek, approximately 5 kilometres southwest of the creek mouth on Carpenter Lake and 20 kilometres east of Goldbridge.

The showing is hosted in brecciated Mississippian to Jurassic Bridge River Complex (Group) metavolcanics of andesitic to basaltic composition. The breccia is cemented by quartz and contains "globular" stibnite and pyrite. The mineralized breccia zone strikes east and dips 70 degrees north; the mineralization is strong in widths of 1 to 6 metres. Above the brecciated metavolcanics are meta-argillites/hornfels, thought to belong to the Bridge River Complex, which are completely impregnated with disseminated pyrite (5 to 8 per cent). This strong zone of pyritization forms a "halo" in the sediments around the base of Mount Williams.

The north and main zones of the Mary Mac property, approximately 0.8 kilometres to the north, contain distinctly different mineralization from the South zone (see MINFILE 092JNE067). The mineralization occurred in two stages; early molybdenum-quartz veining in hornblende-feldspar porphyry dikes was crosscut by gold-bearing quartz-carbonate-stibnite veins found in both the porphyry dikes and the intruded Bridge River meta-cherts. Copper values were also obtained.

Workings on the South zone consist of surface trenching and three drillholes.

Ore reserves calculated in 1983 consist of 27,300 tonnes grading 8.18 grams per tonne gold over an average width of 2.4 metres (cut-off grade is 3.11 grams per tonne; Assessment Report 11647). The calculation is based on a 140 metre strike length and 60 metre vertical depth.

In 1986, trenching along a 220 metre strike length of the South zone yielded:

---------------------------------------------------

Trench From To Width Gold

(No.) (m) (m) (m) (g/t)

1 6.0 6.9 0.9 19.0

2 11.0 11.8 0.8 15.0

5 14.0 15.0 1.0 15.6

6 19.0 20.0 1.0 7.4

9 11.0 13.0 2.0 6.8

---------------------------------------------------

(Assessment Report 15777)

In 1987, drillhole T87-2 (below Trench 6) intersected a strong zone of shearing, brecciation and quartz-stibnite mineralization, which included an intercept yielding 9.23 grams per tonne gold over 3.4 metres, and is followed in the footwall by a strong interval of felsic alteration (Assessment Report 16378).

In 1980, Keron Holdings completed a program of geological mapping and geochemical sampling on the area as the H.J. claims. In 1981, Hudson Bay Oil and Gas completed a program of rock and soil sampling. In 1983, a total of 8 diamond-drill holes were put down by Andaurex Resources on the area. In 1986 and 1987, Pilgrim Holdings, on the behalf of Keron Holdings, completed programs of trenching, geochemical sampling, geological mapping, ground magnetic and electromagnetic surveys and 11 diamond drill holes, totalling 998 metres.

In 1999, A.B. Hemingway staked the area as the Merry Me and Mary claims and completed a ground magnetometer survey the following year. In 2002, an air photo and satellite image interpretation program was completed. In 2005 and 2006, Action Minerals completed programs of prospecting and airborne magnetic and electromagnetic surveys the area as the Williams property. In 2009, A.B. Hemingway completed a program of rock, silt and soil sampling. In 2011 and 2012, Nubia Exploration Ltd. optioned the property and completed rock and soil sampling, prospecting and a ground magnetometer survey. Zimtu Capital Corporation later optioned the property. In 2014, on behalf of Zimtu Capital Corporation, A.B. Hemingway conducted a rock sampling geochemistry program on the Mary Mac East zone (MINFILE 092JNE067) directly to the north. Four rock samples were collected, the old Paly Vein/North adit was located and a new target was identified at the end of the east road.
