The Veritas (L.2355-2357) adits are located near the north western shore of Lajoie Lake and continue uphill for approximately 300 metres in a north west direction, to an elevation of approximately 1013 metres.

The area is underlain by Upper Triassic Cadwallader Group altered andesitic volcanics and quartzites and argillites of the Mississippian to Jurassic Bridge River Complex (Group). These are intruded by a northwest- trending belt of micro-diorite (augite diorite) of the Permian Bralorne Complex containing a dike-like mass of Permian and older serpentinized peridotite (President Ultramafics) corellative with the Shulaps Ultramafic Complex.

Locally, mineralized veins occur in the micro-diorite as irregular lenses in shear zones sub-parallel to the diorite-serpentine contact. The veins, varying from a few centimetres to 1.2 metres in width, are massive white quartz with minor calcite and drusy cavities. Sulphides (pyrite, arsenopyrite and minor chalcopyrite and galena) are sparsely disseminated; the footwall contains massive pyrite and free gold. The wall rocks contain much carbonate and ankerite alteration;, both the vein and wall rocks contain scattered mariposite. The vein, trending 120 degrees and dipping steeply north, has been followed by former workings for a distance of 304 metres and over a vertical height of 122 metres.

In 1978, a dump grab sample (3161) from the third adit assayed 5.0 grams per tonne gold and 36 grams per tonne silver (Assessment Report 6971). In 1985, grab samples from the vein and the No.2 adit dump assayed 6.9 and 5.0 grams per tonne gold, respectively (Assessment Report 14390). The following year, a chip sample over 0.3 metre from the No.4 adit portal vein assayed 2.6 grams per tonne gold (Assessment Report 15209). In 1986, a dump sample (No.8) assayed 3.03 grams per tonne gold, 9.3 grams per tonne silver and 0.288 per cent copper (Assessment Report 16004). In 2013, a sample (#4) of quartz vein from the No.4 adit assayed 6.83 grams per tonne gold (Assessment Report 34115).

The area was originally explored in the early 1900’s with greater than 350 metres of underground development in four adits, starting near lake level and continue north west following the vein trend up the hillside until the late 1930‘s. The lowest adit, No.1, is 3 metres above Lajoie Lake and runs for 167.6 metres. The No.2, adit is located 25 metres the No.1 adit and runs for 94.5 metres. The No.3 adit is another 30 metres higher and runs for 73.2 metres with a short raise and winze at 12 metres, while the uppermost adit, No.4 is 25 metres higher again and 8 metres long.

In 1978, a program of rock, silt and soil sampling was completed on the area. In 1979, Climex Mining completed a program of rock and soil sampling, geological mapping, ground geophysical surveys and three diamond drill holes, totalling 85.2 metres, on the area immediately to the north as the Gwendolyn claim. During 1983 through 1988, Chalice Mining completed programs of ground and airborne geophysical surveys, rock and soil sampling, prospecting and geological mapping on the area immediately to the north as the G.G. and Victory claims. During 1985 through 1991, Interex Resources completed programs of ground geophysical surveys, prospecting, soil sampling and geological mapping on the area immediately to the north as the Rose Gold claim. During 1985 through 1988, Coral Energy completed programs of soil and rock sampling, airborne and ground geophysical surveys and geological mapping on the area. In 2012 and 2013, minor prospecting programs were completed.
