The Wendy occurrence is located at an elevation of approximately 1100 metres, near a small east-flowing tributary of Guichon Creek and approximately 3 kilometres northeast of Gump Lake.
The area is situated along the eastern edge of the Upper Triassic to Lower Jurassic Guichon Creek Batholith, where quartz diorites and granodiorites have intruded Upper Triassic Nicola Group intermediate volcanics and sediments. These rocks were subsequently intruded by Gump Lake phase granodiorite to quartz monzonite.
The eastern portion of the property is underlain by hornfels, hornfelsed schists and granitic gneisses, which have a rough north-trending foliation of variable dip. The metamorphosed rocks are intruded by leucocratic, fine- to medium-grained granitic dikes that increase in abundance to the west until the hornfelsic units grade into granitic units. The southwestern part of the property is underlain by fine- to medium-grained diorite or granodiorite and coarse grey granite.
Alteration consists of weak sericitization along with disseminations and bands of pink potassium feldspar. Minor chalcopyrite and malachite occur as narrow veins or along joint planes and as fine disseminations in the intrusive rocks on the former Wendy 16 claim.
A narrow chalcopyrite bearing zone is also reported to be exposed by a roadcut approximately 2.2 kilometres north-northwest of the Wendy occurrence.
