The Lookout Peak occurrence is located on the east side of Lookout Peak overlooking Bear Creek, at an elevation of approximately 950 metres.
The area is underlain by greenstone and greenschist metamorphic rocks of the Cretaceous to Tertiary Slollicum Schist. These have been intruded by Paleogene granodioritic rocks.
Locally, gossanous shear zones are hosted by biotite-rich quartz diorite and diorite dikes. Mineralization consists of disseminated pyrite and pyrrhotite. In 1985, a channel sample (85T43) across a shear zone assayed 0.34 gram per tonne gold over 0.6 metre (Property File - Tor Bruland, A. D. Clendenin [1985-01-01]: 1985 Harrison Lake Area Property and Target Exams. Looking for Similar Properties to ABO).
In 1985, the area was prospected and sampled by Kerr Addison Mines. In 2002, Condorado Operating Company silt sampled the area as the Alp 1-2 claims.
