The Polaris 16 showing lies along the northwest bank of Arrastra Creek, 20.5 kilometres west-southwest of Princeton.

Chalcopyrite is disseminated in hornblende pyroxenite in the south end of the Early Jurassic Tulameen Ultramafic Complex.

The showing was drilled by Anaconda American Brass Ltd. in 1970.
